2023 NFL DRAFT - ROUNDS 4-7 11:00 Saturday

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Wed Apr 26, 2023 5:31 pm

We'll continue to discuss the draft today and tomorrow and then this will become the official draft thread for non Packer picks.

Spoilers are ok (picks disclosed before the comish is at the podium) as long as they are from reputable sources and not random blue check dweebs.

Packer picks will each have their own threads.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Blue Check Dweebs is a good band name.

Kincaid has moved to the consensus pick for GB, although not a very high percentage.

I don't want a TE at 13, but if we did take one, it better be him.

This would not piss me off at all. The potential is there....it would just suck that we would be drafting from a position of strength.

This is likely Aaron Jones last year and Dillon is just average, so it changes quickly.

Bijan would be too good a pick for the Packers.

Packers taking a running back with their first pick is now +8000 (80-1). Definitely going to stop by Poto and put a few bucks on it. I put a little cash on TE last weekend and it was +175, now TE is +350.

Not sure how this site works, but Packers are mocked to pick TE for their first 3 picks? Does it just take picks independently? I guess it clearly shows we are going to take (or need) a TE.

It just takes the team that is most linked to the player throughout all the mocks. So obviously, all the mocks are locking us into TE for 13, 42, or 45.

One guy I've seen discussed very little on here but I think would make some sense at 13 or a trade back is Bryan Bresee

I don't like him at 13, would have to be a pretty steep trade back, at least to the 20s.

I feel like the big guy from Michigan Mazi seems like a Gute guy.

I think he's a guy who could come in and earn immediate snaps on the Dline next year(unlike Wyatt) and has all the tools needed to become a top Dlineman in this league. He's young and athletic so he should be able to continue developing and by 2025(the target year in my mind to become a true contender) I think he could certainly lock down a premium position for us. I don't think he'll be the pick at 13 but I wouldn't hate it at all. We need to shore up our dline

Mazi, Benton, or Gervon Dexter in the 2nd would be great picks imo

This could definitely be a draft more than most where a guy who is on some mocks in the 50's gets drafted in the 20's and vice versa. I expect some surprises.

I think we need DL depth, but I'm happy with our top 3 of Clark, Wyatt, Slaton. Not that I wouldn't take DL if it's BPA, just don't think that will be the case.
