From a dropped TD to a Mertz like pick
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Jeff George throwing the pick. Ugh.

Can we trade Mordecai for the Buffalo QB?

The dropped TD was a perfect throw but otherwise Mordecai looks bad. Dudes feet are tap dancing every drop back, I hate it lol

He can't seem to read the field at all.

Mordecai may be the worst Badgers QB yet and that’s saying something. Zero poise, not a good arm, mechanical and rigid, locking on receivers, and terrible decision making. Let’s check out the young QBs this guy isn’t it.

I'm already wondering what Fickell is going to say to these dudes at halftime.

You guys have pretty lousy memories if you think Mordecai is remotely close to the worst the Badgers have had at QB.

Only one person has gone that far, but he certainly doesn't look good.

To clarify my memory goes back to Derek Bevell. Guys I remember:

Mertz
Hornibrook
Tolzien
Stocco
Bollinger
Sorgi
Stave
Houston
Mccevoy
Bevell

Perhaps I’m missing some that I’m blacking out but to me only Mccevoy and Stave enter the conversation as this low of level of talent.

Mordecai’s throws downfield look much better. The TD and the dropped TD were both darts. Anything wide near the sidelines, even swings passes to backs look like they take forever to get there.

He doesn’t look poised in the pocket but it is his first half with a new program, coaches, teammates so I’m not getting hyperbolic that he’s awful. You can see the arm talent on some of those throws down the field.

Are you basing the other guys “level of talent” based solely on their first 6 drives or just Mordecai? He doesn’t look fantastic or anything but you’re being a bit ridiculous
