I can excuse some things because of the lack of talent left by Chryst and this being a transition year, but bonehead penalties and mistakes I cannot.

Fickell's teams at Cincy were always among the most penalized teams so this shouldn't be a huge shock
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Amazing what happens when we actually run with Braelon

Did Mordecai grab his hammy at the end of that run?

I'm glad Longo finally realized the best use of Braelon is to give him the ball between the tackles.

Wisconsin was favored by 20.5

First half eggs seem to be the trend. Not sure if great adjustments or terrible preparedness to start. Maybe both.

Definitely won’t work in the BIG.

How would Leonhard get them to score more points?

My thinking was by forcing more 3 and outs on the opposing offenses, giving our offense more opportunities

But this defense forced 6 turnovers and still the team only scored 28 pts so what do I know?

Random thought, but the Badgers should look to incorporate some option runs with Mordecai.

I’m saying this with what somebody told me of an Athletic piece, but it jives with what I’ve heard/seen:

They want to but they are afraid to. Why? The rest of the QBs look like **** so far. Get Mordecai hurt on some designed runs and tank your season.

Only watched the first quarter but the team is just simply not good. I think they’ll get better, but there is already a talent deficiency on this team and then you add in the mismatched skill sets and it’s just ugly. Hilarious how PC’s last few classes were really highly rated but in reality have been total duds. Is it because the entire program started checking out when PC did or not I don’t know, but whatever. Fick is proven and I fully expect him to right the ship but it’s not going to happen for a year or two Atleast

Was at the game , unexpected slow start again ! Modecai seems just a tick slow on his throws , but the real problem is the overrated oline ! They just can't pass block ! Everything has to to be short , no time for any deep routes . and honestly the run game until the second half was shoddy , all kinds of guys missing blocks ! Not a lot of holes to run through !
Defensively they just don't look good ! Inconsistent pressure up front , poor tackling , the secondary right now is dreadful ! I thought this was going to be a strength of the team , maybe its scheme , but whatever it is it's not working! Glad we won and thankful their QB was in a giving mood because quite frankly they out played us in most of the game !
