How many decades has it been since we had a shorter injury report than the opponent?

Jones is key. Watson is cake, but it would still be great to see him out there.

I just don't get it, why is he still here?

Do we know if MLF gets the final call on his DC, or is that a Gute/Murphy call?

Who makes the first push betwen Murph, Gute and MLF? It's not all on Barry, but the body of work certainly shows he's not getting the job done. MLF may have personal friendship going back a few years, but Barry has amply proven to be a boat anchor on MLF's own career, so..... Murph doesn't seem to want to rock the boat while he's taking his two year valedictory laps. Gute pushes the hardest for Barry to go?

I dislike Barry as much as the next guy but I also think we flat out overrate the players on the D. Their best and highest paid have a bad habit of coming up small at the worst times.

Oh and I'm not ruling out some kind of curse since it's now like 20 years of no matter the players or coach the D always kind of looks the same and untrustworthy.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Sounds like Watson couldn't practice, still too injured.

I'll be convinced the defense is equally a personnel issue when we stop seeing the same old schematic issues crop up every time. Case in point, this Saints offense is pretty much the exact kind of offense that this defense should, on paper, absolutely dominate.

Non-mobile pocket QB (Carr), mediocre offensive line, a JAG Tight End room, and both their top-2 RB's on the pre-season depth chart (Kamara & Williams) will be out. If the defense can't absolutely smother this collection of mediocre skill talent, then Barry should be given his walking papers first thing Monday. You can't just keep accepting these kind of deflating defensive performances and chalking it up to "guys need to play better".

The fact we have a division game up next on short rest will factor in for Watson, Jones, Bahk.

Alumni day is always great, I've been to a few. Now that I have season tix I get the second home game so I haven't been to one for awhile.

Cool! Some pretty good players in their day, including several HOF'ers.

I think there's a lot of talent on D. Young athletic guys in their prime. We should be aggressive, getting upfield and pressuring opposing teams to throw the ball and force them into mistakes. Instead we lay back and gap control, challenging them to methodically drive down the field.
This might be a good choice for an old, experienced and savvy defense, but that's not what we have.

Probably both will be listed as questionable when the report comes out later.

If we didn't have a game vs the Lions on Thursday I'd assume both would play but given the fact that we do play Thursday against a team we could be fighting for to win the division I'd think there's a much better chance one or both sit
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"
