Giants are bad but this game worries me. After beating 2 good teams it would be Packer-like to drop this one.

Giants defense is decent. They've won 2 straight (against Commanders and Patriots), DeVito was pretty good. Their other 2 wins came against the Cardinals and Commanders.

Watson is out. Quay likely out.

You can tell this is at least getting a little weird because if the medical staff expected this injury to keep him out this long he would've been on IR.

Don't remember if it was the Athletic or JS but the headline on the notification was Alexander saying it's hard to play when you're not 100%. I didn't read the article so he may actually be hurt enough where he needs to sit out but if he's at like 90 or 95% and isn't playing because of that, he's playing the wrong sport.

I can't forget how bad Jaire looked against Atlanta. Maybe there is some sort of chronic problem, or maybe his cockiness is hiding some deep insecurity about how bad he has looked at times this season. Shoulders and backs are both finicky as hell, but he's coming off as a little bit of a headcase.

A lot of the beat writers reporting that there is a bizarre feeling hanging over the Jaire situation.

If, don't know if it's true, he's waiting for the elusive "100% healthy" to play that won't sit well with players or coaches. Everyone is injured to some degree this time of the year

I went back to see if it's possible that Jaire was pissed when Douglas was traded, or maybe was trying to sabotage his own trade value so he wouldn't also get traded, but he played one game after the trade.

I'm not going there with Jaire until we see some actually smoke. Lest we forget the manufactured "Bahk doesn't wanna play on turf" narrative that got people worked up before it turned out that he was actually just really **** hurt/injured....

This feels like a trap game although maybe it's too obvious of a trap game to be an actual trap game.

I do think not having Watson (or Jones) is a blow to the offense. I like our other receivers just fine but Watson specifically is really the only one that takes our passing game vertical. To me it's
no coincidence that the offense really took off the last couple games with a fully healthy and locked in version of Watson.

Also that Steelers game wasn't that long ago where even though their QB sucked, they just ran it down our throats and Joe Barry didn't do anything about it.

I'm predicting a loss. Just the type of ish that happens in the NFL all the time. MLF is undefeated in December and the Packers are rolling, so it's time for the football gods to remind us of their fickle nature. I hope I'm wrong of course.

I have a bad feeling about this game but to be fair I’ve had a bad feeling about every Packer game I’ve watched since I started watching in 93.
