At the start of the season I didn't expect playoffs so this is gravy. Now get it done.

I'm preparing myself for a loss but obviously hoping for a win. Both teams have played good football recently. The Bears defense has been awesome and their Offense hasn't been terrible. This should be a really good game that I could honestly see going either way. The playoffs were not the main goal this year as MD said so if they make it that's awesome but if they don't it's not the end of the world, heck one could argue losing to Chicago would likely cement Barry being gone & make it more likely the Bears keep Fields, that said having to hear it from Bears fans all offseason would be awful

28-Bears, 27-Pack and I hope I'm wrong.

Johnson is listed as doubtful but says he's going to play

If he's likely going to be Franchise tagged in any case, how much incentive is there for him to play tomorrow? I do get lost in some of the peculiarities of current NFL contract shenanigans.

This is so much like last year's final game against the Lions, when Rodgers completely crapped the bed with a playoff berth on the line. That was extremely painful to watch because it had been such a fun and surprising second half of the season after looking just wretched in the first half (sound familiar?), and I thought for sure they were going to keep it going. This year's Bears are similar to last year's Lions as well. Hope Love continues to be better than Rodgers was last year.

Can't shake the memory of last year.

I want the win and a playoff appearance for the young guys.
The key, as always, is to sustain long drives and limit CHI’s scoring opportunities. Get good yards on 1st down, open up the playbook for 2nd and 3rd down, repeat.

Dubose being called up is interesting. I'd guess that means at least 2 of Watson, Wicks, & Reed don't play

Very bummed about DuBose being called up. I was hoping everyone would play.

A couple of questions:
IF Reeds out, or at least off Punt Return duty, who's fielding punts?
Is this the end of the Rudy Ford Era?
*Edit* I also expect that Musgrave and Reed(if active) to be wearing extra torso protective gear

I didn't have playoff expectations coming in and if they get in I don't expect them to do much damage but even so I will be pretty bummed if they lose tomorrow's game.

Nixon would be the PR.
MickeyDavis wrote:I'm guessing Watson is out
I hope not because teams have bent their defense when he has been on the field.

That would make sense, but then why did they trot out Toure on the muffed punt, since Nixon was available?

Under threw him by 3 yards due to bad footwork.
