Time for Malik Willis to shine. Wouldn't be surprised if they brought in another vet QB as well.

We've only seen MLF have to design a gameplan for a backup QB once and it was a short week with the Rodgers covid stuff. We've never seen him have a full gameplan around a backup.

It'll be interesting to see what MLF does the next few weeks with Willis.

I will be interested to see how the Colts look tomorrow with Richardson. I'm not looking forward to facing Taylor.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This sounds like a job for Joe Flacco. Go get him, Gute.

I don't want to overlook the missed FG. We ended the game at mid field. Love got hurt with 15 seconds left and would have had a couple of sideline throws to set up a potential game winning kick. I didn't expect Narveson to never miss but a 44 yarder has to be made.

Considering he's currently a member of the team we play next that's a tough ask.

The rollercoaster of "Screw these international games!" to "We are so stupid" (kick return) to "We might win this" (30 yard pass) to "Our season might be over" in the span of 4 plays is insane.

If we turned those turnovers into TDs instead of fgs all of this avoided. I realize part of that was due to the field conditions but still.

Yeah sucked in the Redzone on both sides of the ball last night. I had such high hopes after 2 drives for the defense too.

The defense wasn't terrible, but it had some classic Packer faults - terrible run defense, can't get a stop when it counts, etc. To be fair to them, though, the field conditions obviously caused a few slips and missed tackles. It's very hard as a corner to man up when you can't plant. The offensive player has a massive advantage. Tackling in space was our biggest issue yesterday and my hope is that they'll look better with more reps and better field conditions.

Xavier looked great and Eric Wilson made some really nice plays. The pass rush from the front four was disappointing and forced Hafley to blitz more often than he probably wanted to, but that's a really good O-line. They contained Hurts pretty well.

But they're going to have to be better if we're going to rely on Malik Willis to run the offense.

The TD that got cancelled had a great impact.

Starting Sean Clifford would be coaching malpractice

I'd rather sign back Pratt from TB's practice squad and start him than have Clifford start lol.

Good analysis here of how the Packers D looked different under Hafley compared to Barry

Are you familiar with Malik Willis? My TN fan buddy said when we traded for him the he's close to the worst #2 in the league. Part of my buddy's comment: "I think the Malik Willis athleticism to be a super Taysom Hill is there. The problem with that is, when we have tried that in the past, he comes in for a play and immediately fumbles on an end around or doesn’t catch the snap in shotgun. It’s been a disaster like 80% of the time they’ve tried to use him that way."

Guess we have to hope that as a starter, he's more into the game & less likely to bungle things.

Not a ringing endorsement but I feel a lot better about Clifford over Willis.

The Packers traded a draft pick for Malik Willis and felt good enough about his knowledge of the playbook to make him QB2 against Philly. Clifford was absolute garbage in the preseason against 2s & 3s whereas Malik actually played decently well.

I think there is atleast a small chance Malik isn't terrible whereas I'm 100% confident Sean Clifford is terrible. If it was me I'd start Michael Pratt over either guy but that ship has sailed. But there is zero reason to start Sean Clifford over Malik Willis
