Titans aren't very good and Levis is bad. Hopefully Love is back. And plays better than he did against the Eagles.

As far as I know we came out of the Colts game healthy.

I just hope Levis is still starting. I’m assuming they won’t give up on him yet but I just don’t see it with him at all. Could be a great tank commander though.

Pack open as 2 point dogs. I imagine that flips if Love is cleared. Won't know anything until we see if he practices Wednesday.

If you want to be the man, you have to beat the man.

They ought to hold Love out until October vs. the Rams so he gets a full recovery & since it's the first non bad qb they play. Should be able to win another game w/ our bad qb vs. theirs, like we did today. Go 2-1 in this stretch before the schedule toughens.

Willis can earn himself a decent little contract when he's a FA in two years by just being adequate the next week or two.

After spending two years in the GB system he would be a good low risk gamble for a QB needy team.

And a compensation pick higher than 7th round would be a win for us too.

They've got to get Evan Williams on the field more. If that means 3 safeties on the field, so be it.

Malik did a really good job running the modified offense. But I will note that teams have tape on that now. The Titans are also very familiar with his deficits. I don't want say that Malik couldn't do it again, but I wouldn't count on it. Even against the Colts, the offense stalled a bit in the second half, and Tennessee has a much better defense.

If Love is available, he should play. If not, hopefully Levis gifts us a couple bad turnovers and we can grind out another win.

Titans are bad but could easily be 2-0. It'll be a tough one.

I feel good about this one for some reason [knocks on wood*].

Going to need a big game from the defense again. I think they can generate some turnovers on the Mayo man, which hopefully gives us a shot. Keep the penalties that have been hurting us, to a minimum and don't fumble away easy points. Their defense will probably sell out against the run, so getting Malik some quick hitters could be helpful. He seemed to do well with those shorter concepts dumping off to Tucker Kraft, so maybe we'll see more from the TE's this week.

That play just showed how limited the passing game was - it was a designed screen that was flagged for illegal man downfield (not on Willis, as the pass rush threw off the timing). It seems to me that those limited passes LaFleur had in the game plan basically gave Malik one or two options and then just had him scramble. There wasn't a lot of progression in the reads, so to speak. A quality defense will shut that down.

If Malik has to start taking shots downfield, that's when I start getting nervous. Even that touchdown to Wicks was a half beat away from being a pick six.

I think that's all you can realistically ask of him at this point though. MLF can scheme him up a couple of throws he's comfortable with and it could help break things up front if Tenn goes all out on the run.

Yeah they were likely operating with like 10% of their normal passing offense this past week. Dudes only been here for like 15 days. I imagine they can build on that this week and add some things but we're still looking at a very limited game plan.

They're gonna need to draw up a couple shot plays next week. Willis played very well for what he was asked to do, but like others I'm really doubting that you can bank on another nearly 300-yards rushing with such a limited passing attack now that teams have film on it. Dude's got a cannon for an arm and you need to at least give him the freedom to let it rip.

I'm not even concerned about shot plays. I'm more concerned about those intermediate routes where Willis is going to have to be able to read the coverage and make the appropriate decision. Those are picks waiting to happen.
