If we win 2 and Vikings lose 2 we are both 13-4. Split the season series. Same division record. Next is common games which I think would be tied. Next is conference record which would be tied. Then is strength of victory and I don't know how that stands.

Obviously have to win this one first

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs)

Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division

Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games

Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference

Strength of victory

Strength of schedule

Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed

Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed

Best net points in common games

Best net points in all games

Best net touchdowns in all games

Coin toss

Strength of victory would clearly be us. Both teams have beaten the same opponents except for 3. We beat the Dolphins, Saints and Rams. They beat the Giants, Jets and Falcons.

Sweet. Hopefully we win and Detroit has something to play for the last week. I'd rather have the Falcons than the Rams.

Watson and Jacobs were banged up. Hopefully they're good to go on a short week.

Jacobs is fine. He said he was pulled as part of the plan because the game was out of reach early.

Washington has tiebreaker on us and will likely win out. We could easily drop to 7 with a loss in Minny. Be nice if Atlanta could beat them.

It would suck if we managed to go 0-4 against the Vikings and Lions. Let's win one of these.

I just had a vision that we won on a FG as time expired.

Jalen Hurts getting knocked out really screwed the Packers, if he finished that game the Eagles likely beat Washington and the Packers don't have to really worry about falling to the 7th seed. Also with the Eagles loss Detroit can now wrap up the 1 seed this weekend with a win and Vikings loss, thus having no incentive to beat the Vikings next week.

Long story short green bay may now have to win out to avoid the 7 seed just to likely still be stuck at the 6 spot.

So the paths are:

A) Rest the starters. Play Philly in the 1st round unless Washington loses out or the backups beat the Bears and WAS loses 1 game and then we get into crazy tie breakers.

B) Play the starters. Hope to win out and then play LAR/SEA or ATL/TB. If we drop one, we could still end up in crazy tie break scenario if WAS wins out.

???

Sucks that in a season where the Packers have their most legit team since arguably the late 90's. It's also a season where you likley have to go 13-4 to avoid the #7 seed.

And I have been saying since the early 90's when I started watching football that it is incredibly stupid how the league seeds teams based on winning your division.

It's a very real possibility that the Packers go 13-4 and then in the playoffs will have to travel to play a 9-8 team.

It just sounds like some stupid, moronic idea that someone came up with in the 1930's. And for whatever reason, no one in charge has ever said Wow, that is really **** stupid.

It's crazy to think of the difference it would be playing the Eagles in the wild card vs potentially playing a team like the Falcons if we win-out.

Eagles are probably the worst match-up for us in the entire league IMO. And it's one of those games where even if the Packers pull it out, it would be a very tough and physical game that will likley come down to the final seconds. Which means the Packers will probably be worn out and banged up going into the divisional round.

As opposed to playing a team like the Falcons where the Packers probably win 38-10 and are resting guys and just running the clock out by late 3rd quarter.

Rams would probably be our most likley opponent if we finish #5 and they wouldn't be a push-over but I don't see this Packers team losing to the Rams if they play them. We'd have to lay an egg to lose to the Rams and I don't see this current Packers team laying an egg in a big game. These aren't the McCarthy/Rodgers era Packers.

My dream playoff road where everything bounces our way but is a real possibly would be.

Falcons in the wild card - We would smoke them.

Lions get the #1 seed and we play them in the divisional round - Lions are banged up and no one is beating this Packers team 3 times in the same season. My money would deff be on the Packers in this game.

Vikings pull their lucky BS and beat the Eagles in the divisional round - I would bet a very large amount of money that the Vikings would choke at home in an NFC Championship game against the Packers. Plus the Packers are the better team and would probably win even if the Vikings don't choke.

I would then love our chances on a neutral field against anyone from the AFC.

Of course I want to win this game but part of me thinks about how interesting it would be to get swept by Minnesota and Detroit then beat them both in the playoffs.

Hard to not concede that his body/knee is just breaking down at this point. I get that it's hard to predict injuries, but not making any sort of attempt to upgrade the CB room these last 16-months or so is looking like a crucial error. I'd honestly just shut him down these next two weeks and hope he can at least give you 15-20 plays on a snaps restriction for the playoffs.

Cooper Dejean being really good and Jordan Morgan being JAG is rough.
