I'm all for it...Ron Wolf said it best when asked about the Moss to Packer rumors and how the fans were reacting...rolling his eyes: "If it's a move that will help your team, then you do it." Or something along those lines...

Agreed with MD I'm just afraid Aaron Rodgers is in the deal that would suck.

I don't think Rodgers will amount to anything but I think he deserves a shot to play before passing final judgement.

I think any WR would cooperate under Favre. Instead of watching Favre heave up the 40 yard bomb, and you're sitting there trying to watch but at the same time trying not to, only to see it get picked off, you know you'd have a chance at it.

I hated the guy on Minnesota, but who doesn't hate a Viking? I instantly liked him when he went to the Raiders, and realized what a great talent he is.

If fans that don't want him are still bothered by the "mooning", they need to get over it. That's not going to go away. Packer fans have harassed Moss enough, who cares if he played a joke?

Go out and get the guy.

I'd love to see Randy on the Packers. Hell, just get him away from the Raiders.

Moss would do wonders for our passing game. Driver was putting up those numbers last year while being double teamed for half the season. Jennings would benefit the most as he would be the slot receiver and I don't think other teams' 3rd DB would be able to stop him.

I'm all for Moss in the green and gold.

As much as I'd love to see it happen, I just don't think it will. I see Randy being in a Raiders uniform next season. Extensive progress just doesn't seem to have been made as far as a deal goes between the two teams. I think the Raiders want a bit too much.

What are the consequences if Randy doesn't work out? What would have to be given up to get him. I can't see any WR being unhappy on a team with Favre. Koren Robinson is already here so the brass aren't worried about a serious backlash from fans. I don't see much downside if he comes relatively cheap. How big of a locker room cancer can someone be if everyone knows they are crazy?

I'm all for it and still think it will happen. If it doesn't then I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, but I think he'd be a very good addition to the offense.

That's pretty much my feelings.

It comes down to the price. Davis and TT will wait for each other to blink. But neither will. TT will NOT pay more than he wants and Davis is crazy. Plus some other team may cave in and give Davis more than TT. So I do not see Pack getting Moss. Really too bad.

But I wonder about Seattle's WR Jackson? TT drafed him?

I don't think that Rodgers has what it takes.

Even when he has gotten chances he seems uninspired.

I think he lacks motivation and dedication.

I just don't see him developing into anything special.

His pick was waisted. Almost as bad a pick as good ole Tony Mandrich was.

Rodgers has thrown 31 NFL passes, none in meaningful situations. I can't see where anyone can say he's "uninspired" or lacks motivation or dedication. By all accounts he works his butt off.

I think he'll end up like all Tedford QB's and not amount to much but it won't be because he's not motivated.

Rodgers isn't in this deal. That's been the internet speculation BS that has made the entire Randy Moss to GB rumor seem more unbelievable than it truly is. The Aaron Rodgers part is what's BS, IMO... There have been "no discussions" about Aaron Rodgers--trading him doesn't make sense from the Raiders or Packers perspective. Thompson and others have all commented on this rumor by saying Rodgers isn't going anywhere. Then guys like Peter king and John Clayton have misinterpreted TT's words into "there have been no discussions," when in fact there have been, just not including Rodgers.

I really think the deal will include a player such as KGB maybe Ferguson (although not likely anymore) + Draft pick compensation-but no higher than the 3rd round in 2007, but most likely 4th round in '07 + a conditional '08 pick. As Eagle said above, the teams are just sitting on their offers, waiting for the other to budge. The Packers don't have to move off their offer and I don't think they will. The Raiders will come down closer to the draft, unless Moss really doesn't mind playing for them. The Raiders will ultimately come down once they realize that the Packers aren't just calling their bluff and really believe that they can just upgrade their WR in the draft.

Like some others, if it happens it happens. I'm not against it. If it doesn't happen, we can pick up another wideout if we want with the 30th pick we'll acquire after trading for Michael Turner :)

I have the pleasure of having a job that gets me some perks. I have been to several mini camps, in the fence for several practices during the pre-season.

Trust me. He has this aura about him that screams "I don't want to be here".

I was talking with Johnny Gray about this during the season, and he quoted the Patriots game.

Yes, we were getting our rears kicked in. But Rodgers came into the game with his head down, using his words "did not persent him self and the leader of the offense as the QB should have"

"He had the opportunity to come in and fire everyone up and try to get into the end zone, to try and hush some of his critics, but he didn't do that"

This isn't just my opinion. I don't think he has what it takes to be an NFL QB, and I don't base that off of the whole Tedford theory.
