I don't think that the Packers are a "Tory James" away from the Super Bowl ...

Haven't followed James lately,so i have no clue if he's washed up or not. With that said,NFL teams need lots of corners and if James can still be a decent nickle back,it's a solid signing given he didn't cost much at all.

I don't think that the Packers are a "Tory James" away from the Super Bowl

As i said above, maybe James at this point isn't any better than Dendy. If though he can still line up on passing downs and not be a big liability,i don't see why a team has to be a Super Bowl contender to want depth in their secondary.

The Packers were lucky last year that Woodson/Harris were healthy all year.If either misses some games this year, that not only bumps someone into that starting role,it bumps all the backups up.

I'm not losing any sleep over losing James, but as of right now at least, corner depth looks pretty shaky.Hopefully one of Blackmon/Bush/Walker shows they can be counted on the not get regularily burned.
