We got two picks. I want Jared Zebransky and Garrett Wolfe. I also want TE Matt Herian in the 6th.

Zabransky and Wolfe will be taken before the 7th round IMO.

In the 7th round they should take.... me. I'd make an excellent tackling dummy.

Walter Thomas DT- NW Mississippi C.C. 6'4" 372 lbs, 5.19 40 yard dash. Check out this Scouting Report from Scout's Inc.
Strengths: Thomas is big enough to occupy multiple blockers at the line of scrimmage and can protect undersized linebackers. Shows above-average lower-body strength, stays balanced and rarely gives ground when he gets into good position. Has strong upper body, active hands and flashes the ability to shed blocks quickly. Moves well for his size and can make the occasional play in pursuit. Drives legs once in position and is an effective bull rusher who can collapse the pocket. He is tall and is capable of deflecting passes when he gets hands up.

Weaknesses: Only played one full year of collegiate football and left school a year early. Is raw and there are concerns about his ability to pick up new schemes. While adequate in both areas, he doesn't have elite closing speed or initial quickness and shouldn't be as effective rushing the passer at the next level as he was in college. His ability to keep his weight down is a concern, as he hasn't had to stay in playing shape the past two seasons and could wear down if asked to play an every-down role. Doesn't play with a great motor and appears to give up on plays at times.

Overall: Thomas committed to Oklahoma State in 2004 and appeared in 11 games during his true freshman season. He finished with nine total tackles and forced one fumble that year. Oklahoma State dismissed him from the team in 2005, and he did not play football that year. Thomas transferred to NW Mississippi CC, where he started the only two games he played in during the 2006 season. He recorded a total of 16 tackles and four sacks.

Nice call.
Most likely better than than at least a couple of our 2nd day picks. Than again, he's a UFA for a reason I guess.

My call to TT...(theoretically)

DT: Hey Ted...DTribbs here....
TT: Who?
DT:Call Walter Thomas' agent!
TT: Thanks, but we're lookin' for the best available player....and I do have sizzle.
DT: So you're gonna give him a call?
TT:......dial tone....

Ugh, I wanted, at the very least a flier on this guy. No such luck.

I started a thread to protest. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
