I assume we will be picking up Moss and/or Turner.

What did he say? Kiper said he'd be top 10 if not for the injury.

Actually Harrell is a good player. We just have other needs.

However we DO have a shot at Moss and Turner.

I don't like the pick but I agree with Mort, I'll wait for the draft to play out and see what other moves we may, or may not, make.

Injury prone. But sounds like a talent. Not the "sexy" pick but there is a plan. I'll let you guys hate. :)

No insider info. Moss and Turner are on the block, it's just a matter of how much we would have to give up for them.

Mort was just saying to wait until the whole draft is done, that the Packers might be making some other moves, etc...

I think we need to trust teddy here.
He will address the wr and rb positions with some kind of manuever today.
For all we know justin harrel may turn into an all pro dt for us.
If the packers want to win a superbowl they will have to do it with their offensive and defensive lines.
Now lets get moss or turner and do something exciting for the fans.

I don't think Harrell sucks, I just don't think he's worthy of the 16th pick.

Yeah I really don't get this pick honestly... If there is one position we seem to have a ton of guys in it's DT??? I agree though that not taking a WR here is very telling and I think that means we have Moss and possibly have to make a deal for a Turner because Morency isn't going to cut it...

I would've rather seen a Reggie Nelson here or maybe even Greg Olsen...DT??? WTF, lol... Hopefully I'm wrong and there is a reason I'm not an NFL GM!!!

Why didn't we take Greg Olsen and give Favre a solid TE?

We've been drafting defense for years, we needed a playmaker to help Favre out.

Hopefully we just picked for someone else and we plan on trading this pick for Turner or LJ

Anytime they don't pick ho I want it is a disaster. I guess I will have to wait for the season to pass more judgement. I have relaxed back into a Zenlike state.

Don't discount Ted Thompson when it comes to drafting. Like we've said, he has a plan. And I have been impressed by his ability to judge talent, especially in the latter rounds.

I would assume this pick means we have solidified the services of Randy Moss.

I believe he feels there is a second or third round RB out there who fits our needs as well.

To hear from Kiper that Harrell was a top-10 pick if healthy made me think Ted has a game plan and he thinks this guy is an absolute stud.

Now it's almost certain KGB gets cut next year.

Because he can't block.
