That probably takes him off their board. It has been their MO.

We know they like to find these little school guys. We know a lot of the guys they pick are reaches -a 7th reach is what was figured to have a chance as a free agent. Not always true, but about 70% of time (DB in case you read this I am just BPing don't look it up and figure out exact %).

Wynn

ANALYSIS: Possessing the athleticism and skill to be a feature runner at the next level, Wynn is an underachiever of sorts who never took his game to the next level. Teases scouts with his ability and must start to consistently play at a high level.

Strengths: Possesses prototypical size for an NFL running back. Is thickly built with enough strength to break some tackles when he lowers his shoulder. He runs with good balance and shows the ability to make quick cuts. He is at his best working downhill and between the tackles. Shows good vision and natural instincts as a runner. Is quicker than fast. Shows good agility and body control. Also shows good initial burst to-and-through the line of scrimmage. He has good size and strength to match up at the point of attack in pass pro. He has upside as a blocker if his technique and recognition skills continue to improve. He is a decent weapon as an underneath receiver. He catches the ball well when facing the quarterback and he is tough to bring down once he gets a head of steam after the catch.

Weaknesses: An underachiever throughout most of his career. Showed flashes of breaking out as a senior but then suffered a knee injury that lingered throughout much of the second half of the 2006 season. He also had a lingering shoulder injury in 2005, so durability is a concern. There are worries regarding maturity level and work ethic. He doesn't always run as hard as he can and he occasionally will opt to run out of bounds instead of lowering his shoulder and taking on the defender. He lacks elusiveness and elite acceleration. He will never be a homerun threat in the NFL and he lacks the explosiveness to consistently turn the corner as an outside runner. His effort can be spotty as a blocker and receiver. He lacks good route running skills and needs much work in that facet of the game. Struggles to adjust to the poorly thrown pass and can look stiff as a receiver.

Has some off-field issues (seems most these FLA kids do). Has injury that prevented him from producing more. As I recall this was one of those top 5 recruits out of HS.

I have to say I like this pick. Add him to the competition. Has more talent then Beach/Herron. This is a good place to take big gambles on questionable character guys. This guy has the #'s and flashes the ability maybe getting out of FLA in a different environment helps him get his $hit together.

Not a big fan. Immature, never put up any big numbers. Look at this.
In 2005, Wynn stopped talking to the media and ran afoul of Urban Meyer's new coaching staff in preseason drills. During one practice, the coaches were looking for him to run a play, but he was on the sidelines talking on his cell phone.

Negatives: Has had several run-ins with the past and present coaching staffs, and is not considered a team-oriented athlete

Ouch. Very questionable character guy. Dont like that stuff about him and the coaching staff. It is a low risk/high reward type of pick. I dont mind it

Take a shot at him in the 7th. If he doesn't work out, no biggie.

My feeling as well. I do like the short, compact build. I've wanted for awhile now for the Packers to get a stout, speedy back along the lines of a Maurice Jones Drew.
