Keyshawn Johnson released. Take a chance?

I still think he has some left in the tank. He has always been a great possession reciever who is one of the best at going over the middle. Also can run block with the best of them. I highly doubt he comes here because when he was doing the draft all he was talking about was 1 more run at the Super Bowl and we defintly dont have that in us this year. Still would love to add him if cheap though

No, we have 12 WR's on the team right now. 12, we don't need an over the hill vet who's ready to complain when he doesn't get the ball we need. Not to mention he's a horrible complement to DD, they are both possesion receivers, we need a deep threat.

PASS

He doesn't seem the type interested in playing in a city like Green Bay

skill and experience wise in a heartbeat but there is no way he'd come to GB, plus I don't know if the youth on this team is a good spot for his Meshaun act. soI have to say No but if it did happen I wouldn't be pissed

Eh. I'd pass. The cons outweigh the pros in this case.

He will probably end up in a place like San Diego or Seattle.

After listening to him for about 12 hours on draft day, I've had enough Keyshawn to last me a life time.

That 1996 draft where he was picked first might be the best WR draft ever

Keyshawn
TO
Marvin Harrison
Terry Glenn

there were a couple other good ones that I cant remember right now too

Please God, just sign anyone.

The guy caught 70 balls last year, which is about 80 more than Robert Ferguson. The guy IS a red zone target.

What chance? All he'd probably cost is 2-3 million for one year. He'd be a great 3rd guy behind Jennings and Driver.

But of course, God forbid we bring in anyone that'll take away time from Martin, Holliday, and Jones, guys you can get in the 6th round of any years' draft.

But at this point, just do SOMETHING.

I think that was the best.....if Sharpe's not injured, you've got 3 HOF'ers in that class.....

I'll be very interested to see who picks him up. He has very little left in the ol' tank, IMO.

Keyshawn's a warrior. Once he got the praise of Bill Parcells he was aces in my book.

He's not a deep threat but he's got sure hands and he moves the chains. I'd love to get him in.

ESPN reported that The Packers, Titans and Raiders are the front runners to get Keyshawn.

God damn it... I want him on the Bengals :P

Cool.

Now, eagle? I would LOVE to get Keyshawn Johnson. He's tough, he doesn't take plays off, he's a guy that Jennings could probably learn a lot from.

So you see? I'm not 100% against bringing guys in. Again, not all signings are created equal.

I'd be very suprised to see him in Green Bay.Between Keyshawn not seeming like a small town cold weather guy and Thompson likely to offer the least amount of cash,i put the Packers chances as last of those three.

No big loss if not

Almost 3 1st down catches per game, that would make up for the lack of quality at TE.
