Physically gifted but an underachiever at Florida.

He was the 6th rated RB on Scout, com in his class, 4th on Rivals, behind Jerious Norwood. Notable guys he's ranked higher than include Brain Calhoun, Wali Lundy, Kenny Irons and Kenneth Darby.

Here's an article on him in the Journal today:

5'10, 237 lbs and ran a 4.47? Pretty good.

I thought he looked really impressive in the national championship game, but with the offense that Meyer ran it's tough to project how a RB in that system may do in the NFL.

Here's what his NFL.com profile said:

Compares To: Stephen Davis, St. Louis

I agree that it was definitely worth taking a flier on Wynn. He's a hit or miss guy, but his athleticism and size are certainly top notch. Hopefully the coaches can ride his ass if that is what he needs because it looks like he has solid NFL potential.

After reading up on him after the draft, it seemed pretty clear the only reason he fell to the 7th were his character and durability concerns. If he realizes that as a 7th rounder he will need to work his tail off to make it in the NFL, dropping that far could be the best thing that ever happened to him.

Any player pretty much drafted after the 3rd round is in danger of being cut and never playing a down in the NFL.Given the money even backups make, you would think this kid will bust his ass and be on his best behavior.

I have no idea if he will end up being a player, but i do like using 7th rounders on kids like this.A talented guy who drops because of a lazy tag,if he wakes up you might have a steal,if not, boot the guy to the car wash.

It should be very interesting to see some of the battles at TC this year. You usually see a lot of fights, generally between the big guys on the O line and D line fighting for roster spots. Will we see this with our FB, RB, and fringe WR's??
