Released by the Jags today. TT, go get him. I am really not looking foward to another year of Manuel. With another year under Collins' belt, with the addition of a proven hard hitting SS, Darius would be a nice piece.

Just do SOMETHING. At this point I don't care who, just sign a legitimate NFL player. Is that so much to ask?

I'd sure like to get Darius in Green Bay. Haven't heard a peep about it possibly happening though...

Woodson/Harris = one of the best corner combos in the league

Collins/Darius could be as solid as they come.

I'm surprised a team like Carolina who is desperate for a starting safety hasn't tried to sign him yet. Bottomline, Darius was a pro-bowl talent in his prime, and eventhough he is not at that level anymore he would still be a very solid contributor. Darius would be an improvement over Manuel, but I doubt that TT signs someone who will overtake his guy. This would be a very smart move for TT to make though.

Sign Darius, release Manuel, and let the younger safties (Rouse, Underwood) sit behind Darius for a couple of years.

CB-Woodson
FS-Collins ( will only get better )
SS-Darius
CB-Harris

That would be a talented and experienced secondary.

Yes Darius signed with the Raiders. The Packers have no interest in a 30 something DB who is past his prime and suffered through some injuries. The Packers are in rebuilding mode and want to see what they have in Underwood, Culver, and rookie Rouse. They want to see if one of those three guys can step uo and be the S along side Collins for the next five years.

This isn't the Darius of four+ years ago folks.
