Offical Training Camp thread
Everyone ready for training camp?
Who is going to look good? Who will start at RB? Will we have our rookies signed.....???
Lots of questions!!
Anyone planning on coming to any of the practices?
I live a couple miles from the stadium, and usually go to a couple of practices. If people wanted to get together, watch some of a practice, then tailgate, I am all for it. Let me know.

Been hearing the same.
I keep hearing he is a dumb **** that can't learn the system so he wont play. ALso, have heard that he is pretty slow and probably nothing more than a special teamer this year.

no better options practicing right now....
I see us splitting reps with morency once he comes back...He could end up being a sleeper. Not a bad pick with the final pick of the night!

I thought I read the other day that he's been up and down. Jackson that is. Obviously right now I think he is penciled in as the starter w/Morency out. Some reports are saying Herron has looked pretty solid. No word on PJ Pope.
For the WR, I read Holiday and Ruvell have looked good. Holiday is catching everything thrown his way I guess. Jones has been solid. Clowney hasn't been as explosive as advertised. Bodiford has been up and down. No word on Fergie and the others.

I am just hoping Greg Jennings pans out. I have been drafting him in a lot of leagues. Also hope he doesn't forget about driver but farve usallly spreads the ball around good. because some how i wasn't thinking and i have driver and jennings on the same team but jennings is my 5th wr.

I'm thinking Clowney may be a PC guy this year.
Definitely some interesting battles at the WR position. Plus, the return game could easily factor in on who stays and who goes. I really hope Woodson doesn't return punts again. He simply can't cut it back there anymore. I'd like to see Jennings back on punts.

1.I don't want Woodson back there for health reasons above all,he's way to important to the defense to risk an injury by get crushed catching a punt.Watching him last year,Woodson has alot of heart and isn't quick to fair catch punts. That's an admirable trait, but one that could get him hurt.Plus,as AYT said,he lacks the burst to make big plays in the return game.
2.As for what WR's make the team,i'm intrigued by Holiday.I thought he was pretty impressive last year for a guy learning a new position. He has good size and i liked how he ran after the catch.I wish i had the time to be there and watching the team practice so i could get a better read of his skill level besides what i saw last year.Bodiford is another guy i could see as a darkhorse if he can show some big play ability as a punt returner/kick returner. This team desperately needs someone who can do more than catch the ball on returns and run right into tacklers.
