I didn't know you couldn't run with a torn bicep.

They also said his work ethic is not a problem. He is just out of shape from not playing for a year.

They said he was one of only two linemen who had to take a knee after a drill. That's cardio stamina. Unless he runs on his biceps, there is no reason he should be out of shape.

Agreed. Using an arm problem as an excuse for being out of shape is bs.

3 years from now we'll decide if we loved the pick or not.

He hasn't played any football in a year. Not surprised he is getting gassed so quickly. His stamina/legs will come around.

I didn't like the pick when they drafted him. Then I slowly tried to talk myself into liking it. Made a little bit of progress, then found out he can't complete a drill without taking a knee. One step forward, two back. This is the most important opportunity of his life, and he never thought "Well hey, maybe I could just use the treadmill a little while my arms healing".

I think a lot of people tried talking themselves into this pick. This is not the next Tommie Harris or Kevin Williams. He probably is Cledius Hunt #2. Forget the fact it was not a need. This is why ted is the worst GM in the league.

I'm not worried. If he's out of shape in a few weeks it will be a problem.

A lot of bold statements about a player that hasn't played a down yet. I think I'll wait and see what he does in the games.

Your right, BUT for a guy that has a injury history you would hope he was trying to stay in shape. He is not off to a good start.

"Just watching him, we recognize it will be awhile before he's in football shape," strength coach Rock Gullickson said. "He's really a good kid as far as his work ethic and the amount of effort he puts into his workouts. He will not be a problem in that regard."

How is he supposed to stay in shape when he can't work out with the team because of the bicep? Of course he's not going to be in shape to start camp, I mean come on.

People need to relax on Harrell, he will be a very good player. We have over 4 weeks until he even plays his first game, tons of time to get in shape and improve.

And you wanted who??? I will go on record and say I like the pick, believe in building up both lines first, and think the defense is going to be real good.

Yep. I also want to know who people wanted at that spot? There were no offensive players worth taking at #16. If anyone says Olsen or Meachem I will scream.

James Jones will be better then Meachem....book it.

Reggie Nelson is the one guy I could see people making an argument for, but simply put, none of the RB's/WR's/TE's were worth taking at that spot.

Nelson would be a legit pick but I like there safety's Underwood is similiar in size to Nelson, Nelson better in coverage and Underwood more of a hitter...I like Rouse and Bigby...appears Ty Culver has played his way off the team, wish Manuel would as well.

I would have liked Nelson or Meachum-much bigger needs and better value at ##16.
