Snippet from King's article

It's about the Colts losing McFarland:

My advice to Colts architect Bill Polian: Scout the Green Bay Packers on Saturday at Pittsburgh. Look hard at No. 97 for the Pack, Johnny Jolly. He's a 6-foot-3, 317-pound hulk with movement, who, when I saw him last Friday, was every bit the specimen of first-round pick Justin Harrell. And the Packers might not have a spot for him in their DT rotation. Jolly was a sixth-round pick in 2006, and my guess is the Packers would take a low fourth-rounder for him. That's the kind of fix the Colts need to make now, and the kind Polian is so good at. He's often made chicken salad out of chicken feathers, and Indianapolis needs his Midas touch this month as much as ever.

This is inline with what the JS was saying today.

Pickett, Harrell, Jolly, Williams and Cole. All five should make the roster, four will probably be active. I'd like to keep them all.

Jolly won't be available but Cole might.....if I remember Colts have alot of talented TE's perhaps a trade partner.

Might look to unload Williams. He is in the last year of his contract, and had seven sacks last year. If Jolly is as good as he has looked so far, I would prefer to keep him on.

was thinking Cole for Utecht actually...Cole is solid but unspectacular...Williams is in a contract year and could be huge.

I think Cole would be the one to go.

Guess it all depends on how much you would like to resign Williams.

Or if he'd resign here given we just took Harrell and Jolly is apparently stepping up big time and is a better fit for the scheme.

Cole is the least valuable of the group. Not sure how much he will get you. El dude is right, doesn't really fit the Colts scheme. Williams is he best pass rusher and wouldn't want to see him go. Jolly may turn out to be better then Harrell, kind of makes you wonder why we drafted him.

Do not know Colts team or TEs. But maybe

Resign Corey and trade Harrell for their 1st or 2nd best TE & '08 2nd pick.

Of course that won't happen.

IF it happens - if Colts only want to give up 3rd string TE - it will be Cole.
IF they give up 2nd string TE - then Jolly or Williams with Colts also giving Pack a 5th or 6th round pick.
IF they give up starter then Corey straight up.

And he might not...I can easily say James Jones will turn out to be better then Meachem....your typical over-rated Tenn receiver...so terribly happy we didn't draft him. You win with quality lineman, anyone writing off Harrell at this point does not understand the game at all and probably was one of those tools ripping AJ Hawk in camp last year.
