Murphy & Underwood were looking good until hurt. Others ordinary. Costin really sucks. TT's big prospect when drafted.

Plus Clowney, Harris & Wynn from this year may not make it. Harris might because TE stinks NOT b/c he's any good.

Plus Harrell is not playing any better than street FA Muir or 6th pick Jolly.

Plus Collins has to prove his superb talent can become consistent skill.

And then there's ARod? Looking better. For all the Brett hate out there, ARod has been blessed to have time to get ready. He would have been crucified out there past 2 years. He could be ready now.

TT has done a great job with most picks - his overall grade rides with the play of those last 3 guys - ARod, Collins & Harrell. All could be great and all 3 could flop.

You have to include Jennings, Colledge, and Spitz as positives. Moll is respectable, Jones looks like he could be a stud, and I think Jackson will pan out to be a pretty good RB.

He's picked up some nice under the radar type FAs, waiver wire, or other teams practice squad guys in Gado, Herron, Martin, Rayner, Miree, Holliday, Bodiford, Bush, Bigby, Donald Lee, etc. He also dug Ryan out of the CFL and he looks like a keeper.

Thompson has done a very solid job finding guys like these and just overall improving the depth/age from the declining roster he took over.Now it's on him to acquire some more impact players that are required for every elite team.

Hawk looks to be a guy that can fill a consistent playmaker mold.Collins certainly has the physical gifts to be a playmaking safety,we'll see if his instincts/brain allows for him to avoid looking great at times and lost other times.Who knows about Harrell at this point.

On offense,Rodgers is the obvious biggest key going forward.Will he become just a tolerable starting QB or the nice signs so far this year give real hope he may end up better than average.I feel confident that Thompson is on his way to building a good offensive line as these youngsters get PT.My only slight concern on the OL is finding a LT to replace Clifton if he starts showing he might have only another year left after this season.

A big time playmaker at either RB/WR/TE would do wonders for the future of the offense.I see Hawk being a home run type of draft pick in that he has superstar potential.TT needs another home run or two either from future drafts,a guy like Jennings/Jackson/Collins/Jones developing into one,or via trade/free agency.Most really good teams have at least 2-3 guys that are field tilters and then a very solid team around those guys.The type of players opposing teams have to specifically game plan for,whether on offense or defense.
