WOW. I guess I expected it to happen but it's still a shocker.

12-18 months in federal prison (will have to serve all). Could have been as much as 26 years if it went to trial for all potential charges. An indefinite suspension-Vick's release-it's over for Vick in the NFL.

Hope the judge gives him more. Like he said to the other two people.

18 months is the max. The state prosecutor may charge him, bu that's doubtful.

The thing that amazes me is that a large faction of the black americans in Atlanta thing Vick is getting railroaded and this is ratial. With Atlanta having a 52% black attendance record this is a real shot in the arm to the organzation in more ways than one.

He had no options. His co-defendants rolled and they were strongarming him by threating more charges if he didn't agree to a plea. He made the right decision.

But the Judge himself can sentence him to the max he doesn't have to go along with the plea deal.

I think a shot in the arm is supposed to be a good thing (a spark to the team or something). That's probably not the case here. :)

Maybe he meant a shot of cleaning fluid or something. There is nothing like starting off your day with a syringe full of bleach into the arm! Cleans you right up.
