Youth of the Defense

Looking at the ages of the top 2 at each position, and the overall talent, it's hard not to think this D will be very good for a long while. We can really start to add playmakers in the draft the next few years on offense, and maybe a few additions to the secondary. Here's the ages of the top 2 at each spot:

DE: Jenkins (26)/KGB (29)
DT: Pickett (27)/Jolly (24)
DT: Harrell (23)/Williams (27)
DE: Kampman (27)/Hunter (23)
LB: Poppinga (27)/Bishop (22)
LB: Barnett (26)/Hodge (24)
LB: Hawk (23)/Havner (24)
SS: Bigby (25)/Rouse (23)
FS: Collins (24)/Underwood (25)
DB: Woodson (30)/Bush (23)
DB: Harris (32)/Blackmon (22)

I know Manuel and Rouse are both SS, but really the only spot we could maybe use some more depth is the secondary. We only have 3 defensive players in our two deep over 27 years old. I think we have at least one playmaker at the DL/LB/S/DB spots as well. Very excited about the D.

I expect us to add a lot of offensive players next draft.
