RealGM survival league

Post#1 » by Nowak008 » Mon Aug 27, 2007 3:16 am

I thought it would be cool if we could get a huge survival pool going. No money, the prize is you get the bragging rights of the most knowledgeable football fan on here.

Yahoo.com

The league name is: RealGMsurvival

Password: superbowl

ID: 16861

Also use your RealGM name so we know who is who.

Max is 50 people so you better join before it fills up!

Password is case-sensitive, and it needs to be a lower-case "s".

I joined. 3 leagues now. I'm a loser. Anyone else want to create a league so I can join it?

I'd love to sign up......but I really have no idea what a survival pool is. I went on to Yahoo (I despise it...reasons not to be disclosed) to try and find how to sign up. Anyone care to lead me in a step by step? Starting with

www.yahoo.com

(That's as far as I will go at this moment)

Thanks in advanced

A survival pool is that you pick one team a week to win, and you can't pick the same team twice. If you miss once you are out.

First you have to have a yahoo email address or it won't work.

Go to yahoo.com

then to sports. Look for a tab that says fantasy. Then look for survival football. It will ask you to either create or join - you want to join.

Then use the info on the first post to sign in.

Bump this up to get more people in pool. Should we post a link on the Basketball page?

Did anybody look at the week 1 schedule? There isn't any surefire game that everyone can pick. 1/3 of us will be out on the 1st day.

Week one is the hardest. You never know how a team is going to do the first week.

Also you still owe me a drink.

If you don't mind a Bears fan joining, this stuff is what I like doing. Not a Fantasy guy.

How in the hell is Philly over GB at GB a lock? Philly is favored, but that is not a lock game, give me a break.

Who has the better offense? Philly
Who has the better defense? Philly

The logical answer to win would be philly.

But I know you want to keep your faith in GB so I won't say nothing about phillys offense or phillys defense intill after the game where you see for your self.

Seriously man, you need to get lost.

And there is no way in HELL Philly's D is better than GB's. NO ONE outside of Philly would agree with you on that.
