PASS-CATCHERS AVAILABLE FOR PEANUTS

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that a trio of Florida receivers are available to any interested takers.

Specifically Reggie Williams of the Jaguars, Michael Clayton of the Bucs, and Chris Chambers of the Dolphins are on the block.

But Schefter says that no serious talks have occurred regarding any of the three, which means that all three of them are in danger of being released on or before Saturday. Chambers, a second-round pick in 2001, has been the best of the three. Clayton and Williams were first-round picks in 2004. Williams was the No. 9 overall pick; Clayton was No. 15.

Wow that would be amazing if all three of those guy were cut. Didn't we say we weren't done yet and were possibly waiting for cuts. I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on one of them for now.

I just wish a good Rb, TE and Safety would get released as well.

Fins board mod here, no chance Chambers is a cap casualty. First of all, the cap hit would be enormous this year, and his skills are still there. Maybe trade in the offseason if new coach Cameron doesn't feel he fits in.

Thompson had better be all over that if any of those three are cut.

Can you give us his contract details?

I'd have interest in Reggie Williams.

Why would Williams be cut? He's still very young.

I don't know why any of those three would be on the block or in danger of being cut.

That was my reaction as well. Williams has gotten better and Chambers is Chambers.

Clayton has definitely been a big disappointment since his huge rookie year, so he's the only one that makes any sense to me.

I like Ruvel Martin and Holiday better. I feel like we are in a good situation, why change just for the sake of change?

Sounds more like some guy just trying to spark some talk. It's too early to cut ties with the two young guys, and Chambers is Miami's best receiver-that makes no sense.
