Packers (rank, rank for position)
Aaron Kampman (16, 4)
Donald Driver (89, 10)
Chad Clifton (92, 6)
Brett Favre (113, 14)
Al Harris (142, 13)
Charles Woodson (169, 15)
AJ Hawk (177, 26)
Cullen Jenkins (227, 27)
Mark Tauscher (230, 17)
Greg Jennings (308, 32)
Nick Barnett (324, 46)
Vernand Morency (447, 38)
Scott Wells (490, 15)
Just my opinion but I think both our linebackers are way too low, Barnett in particular. Barrett Rudd is in front of him. So is London Fletcher. A rookie in LaMarr Woodley is too. Hell, so is Chad Greenway.
Harris is lower than I'd thought considering he might be the best man cover corner in the game.

You must like King a LOT, you seem to quote him quite a bit.
tons of issues with the list, but I would have to see the whole thing. I can think of more than 15 players I would take before Kampman (and I like Kampman). Hawk, Barnett (your right Greenway was out all last year), Woodson, -are all too low right off the bat. I've never been a big Peter King guy and this list supports that opinion.

I like to read King a lot, mostly because there isn't a writer in the NFL that can get more inside opinions.

I'd stick to his "insider" stuff, his player analysis is weak. First of all I don't like these kinds of lists because it's hard to rate a QB against a DT or OGuard. Apples and Oranges. Your good at finding lists like this-any good lists by position? (doesn't Pro Football Weekly do a pretty extensive one of those?). That would be more interesting.

Thats the strangest description ive ever heard of Gates
Antonio Gates TE, Chargers A more muscular Kellen Winslow
Jay Cutler at 91? Are you kidding me? (The 11th highest QB on the list)
Elisha Manning and Chad Pennington ahead of Romo?
Wes Welker before Boldin, Lee Evans, Colston, Chambers, Branch, Moss, etc.
Rex Grossman at 166
This guy must have a damn good stash or something

In his explanation he said he gave more points to guys that could do it on special teams. It's the reason Welker is so high. Same with Hester.
I could see Welker being New England's second most important offensive player behind Brady this year.
Manning and Pennington ahead of Romo is a head scratcher.
What's wrong with the description of Gates? Did you think he meant Kellen Winslow Jr?
Cutler as the 11th rated QB sounds about right to me.

Yeah my bad.
As for Cutler hes much higher on the list than any of the QB's i previously mentioned plus ones i didnt like Favre and Leinart (obviously this one i suppose you could make an arguement for with them being the same draft (i think) but i still wouldnt put him above Leinart)

King does this for fun and discussion of course but a rookie should never be rated ahead of any vet ever. I think Greenway is going to be good, but he hasn't played a God Damn Down.

He also put Terry Glenn way down at 278. Sure hes getting sorta old and has had a few minor injuries recently (but has played in 31 games the last two years) but he was 18th in recieving yards (In 15 games), had 0 fumbles, and played next to TO (who you know is going to take balls away from any other reciever you have sans maybe 5 or 6). He was also 11th the year before that.

Looking at the first 100,Frank Gore seems to get the biggest shaft at 71

What if the Vet is Joey Harrington? Or Rex Grossman?

That Rex Grossman rating at 166, -that's just among QBs right?
