Pack @ Titans - 8/30/07

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Aug 30, 2007 1:50 pm

Titans will play their starters a lot longer than we will, I don't expect, or care about, a win.

Good to see Wynn get some playing time.

Other than that there aren't a whole lot of jobs on the line here. Seems like our starters and backups are set.

Man I am pumped up for this game, the Brewers/cubs game, the Badgers opener this weekend and the holiday weekend. However thinking about all that is making my work day go slow as hell. I even like my my job but I am still thinking "Get me out of here."

I got all that as well as my brother is playing at Northern Iowa tonight.

Plan is go home for dinner, come back to work at 7:00. so I can use their internet to listen to my bro's game online, wheel in a TV so I can flip back and forth between WGN and the Packer game. 9:30 rolls around I gotta head to a bar for my volleyball league and a going away party. Should be a fun tonight.

Unless the bro's team and Brewers lose. That would suck.

I don't get game out here - so I know you guys will use your keen eyes to evaluate. Please do me a favor and let me know particularily how you feel Bush, Blackmon, Walker, Dendy, Williams look against both pass and run. And if Corey White plays FB - how he blocks? Thank you in advance.

I'm most anxious to see how good or bad Wynn looks.

Amen!

Also if Bigby can play another solid game in both coverage and run. It would throw S into turmoil and hurt big time if he regressed and blew several big plays.

You'd think Wynn will look rusty as hell. How well does he even know the scheme after missing so much time?

He has to hit those holes fast if we have any. Cause his ass is on the line to be waived. I expect him to have to have close to 100 yards total to make the roster. I hope he break a long one. Cause I could see TT going after some washed up scrub like a Dillon. Kevin Barlow got cut the other day. But he bounced around to a few teams after the 9ers. So he could be just as worse as Dillon.

Apparently, despite being out, he's still been in all meetings and hasn't failed tests on assignments. I know that has to be much different once you're on the field, but runningback is also historically the position in which rookies can come in and make major impacts right away. Motto of the position is the same as it is in life: see hole, go through hole.

Before we drool too much over Wynn and what he might be able to do, remember he was a 7th round pick.

Over / Under on Wynn's yardage tonight........45 yds.

On one hand I hope he looks good because he has the ability to be a good back in the league IF he wants to be. On the other hand I hope he fails miserably tonight and gets cut because it appears he is just going to be a frustrating injury prone back with a lot of ability who you will look at in 3-4 years and say, "why didn't we just cut him back then."

I wonder if he is related to Robert Ferguson????

VN play. I didn't think he had much of a chance on the grab.

Nice to see Jennings get involved on that drive and see him flash his RAC ability.

The second quarter sucked with our 2's and 3's against their 1's on both sides of the ball.
