I guess this could be put in the Badgers thread but I thought this was big enough to get its own thread. This really hurts the depth at RB. We now have 2 true frosh RB backing up Hill for all the road games. One of them is banged up and the other is out of shape and doesnt fully know the offense yet.

What's the latest with Clay, I thought he was an academic ineligible?

He was cleared a few weeks ago and has been getting up to speed. With Brown's knee injury in the 1st game, he could see some PT this weekend.

In Clay's first practice a couple of weeks ago he amazed the coaches. He's raw but should be able to contribute part-time this season.

I guess this really doesn't concern me that much, ASSUMING Hill can stay healthy. I do believe Clay will be better than Smith very early this season if he gets enough reps. This does hurt depth on the road, but as long as Hill stays healthy I think Clay will surprise a lot of people with his ability.
