Bears Lose Mike Brown For Season

Post#1 » by LeopoldStotch » Mon Sep 10, 2007 7:01 pm

I hate to celebrate injuries, but I don't think that applies to the Bears. This dude always gets hurt though.

I feel bad for the guy and I don't wish injuries on anyone but this is actually getting comical with Mike Brown.

When was the last season this guy didn't suffer a season ending injury? like 2001 or 2002?

Didnt it all start with that achilles injury against the packers a few years ago?

He's actually one of my favorite all time safeties. He was breaking down after the game because he was so frustrated.

He hasn't played all that much for awhile so they are used to not having him. They still have a damn good defense. They also lost Dusty Dvoracek for the season, he was (and is) going to be a good one.

Why?
He makes millions of dollars to play a kids game.
He plays for the Bears.
His goal is to shut down the Packers.

Take off the skirt rilamann, smack your lady on the asss, and throw back a beer.

He has 2 career tackles, has bettled an alcohol problem for years, and came into the league as 3rd rounder with injuries being a concern. You must know him or have some kind of personal attachement, because there just wasn't a ton to like. This hurts their DT rotation, but proved very little to this point-pure speculation to say he is going to be a "good one".

Dusty has only played part of one game in the NFL so yes he "only" has 2 career tackles. He worked his ass off the past year to the point where only Tommie Harris is stronger on the team. I do think the kid has a ton of talent.

The Bears are extremely high on him, so much so that he started over the very solid Darwin Walker (4th most sacks amongst DTs in the last 5 years).

He's a lot like Jonny Jolly for us in that he did nothing last year and came on like a madman in camp this year. Unfortunately for them, now he's done.
