ESPN 1510 is reproting that Eli Manning is out a month with a separated shoulder.......no Manning, no Jacobs, and they may be without there best defensive lineman as well.

Damn Brandon Jacobs and Eli Manning?
Tom Coughlin is screwed.
Jared Lorenzen is the backup so he should be starting against the Packers.

Well, my fantasy team is screwed, but good news for the Packers. They can't lean on the run with Jacobs out either.
I expect a ton of blitzing by us on Sunday to see what Lorenzen has.

Lorenzen shouldn't be a QB. He would make a hell of an offensive lineman though.

6'4, 285 lb's. BMI of 35.5.
He is the largest QB in the NFL.
Only good for QB Sneaks.

Like I said, with how immobile he is, we will be bringing the blitz early and often I'm guessing. It will be fun to watch our defense in this game.

Damn thats my fantasy QB in my $200 league. Not the news I wanted to hear after him having a great Week 1. Does help the Packers though. We should defintly be able to beat this team with no QB or RB

I would hope so Gb just beat a very good team with an excellent QB and RB.....would e nice to be 2-0 with the juggernaut Chargers coming to town.

This really is a must win game. If you look at the next three after the Giants, you will see three games where our offense is likely going to struggle big time. I said the beginning of the year if we can get out of the first 5 games 2-3 or better, we'd be in good shape. It's our toughest third of the schedule, no question.

The Giants are now claiming Chris Mortenson's report is not true and Manning is day to day.......bet Mort will be right on this one.

Didn't he throw his last TD after that happened? Pretty cool.

I remember Brad Hoover beating the heck out of us, Cowboys QB Garrett too. We can't relax just because they have some injuries. We've had our share over the past couple of years.

It seems like if we've done one thing well it's draft some good team/character guys. Now I guess that isn't to say that they won't lose focus on the game now that 3 important players are missing from the Giants lineup but I feel like we've got some guys that are going to come to practice every day this week with the same focus/intensity that they would have if Manning, Jacobs, and Umenyiora were in their lineup.
This is now a must-win game.

Shades of Favre to Fergy after the concussion...except 1/20th of the QB.

Batch didn't hurt us for Pitt...their defense was their offense in that one. Unless you mean Detroit...then I'm sure he won a game or two for them but he was the starter then.

Regardless..it was his first week starting at QB for the Steelers. Defense or not, we lost and Batch was the winning QB. Something he never did at the starter of the Lions against the Packers.
