Wynn needs to start over Jackson

Or at least until Morency is up to full strength. He hits the hole quicker, has more power behind him, and it appears he has just as much open field speed. Been much more impressed with Wynn than BJax.

Jackson seems hesitant. I agree for the time being.

I agree too. I just don't get Jackson. He doesn't run particularly hard, he doesn't make people miss, can't block, drops passes.....I just don't get it.

We've played six games now and i'm still waiting for a single moment to happen where i can say,so this is why we drafted Jackson.I know the run blocking has been horrid, but good backs at times create plays on their own.
You would think that out of all the carries Jackson has had so far in six games,at least a few times he'd have shown some great burst and/or some great wiggle to make a guy or two miss.
So far at least,he's shown more the skills of a 6th-7th round pick, not second rounder.

Dont forget Grants one carry but ended in a sweet spin move!

I like Wynn as a change of pace back - I just don't know if Jackson brings anything to the table. If we keep a three back rotation, we would at least keep them fresh and keep defenses from planning as much on a key focus back...

Wynn had one nice run. Before that he had 12 yards on 9 carries.

Our horrible run blocking is more important to me than who starts. That said, Wynn looked very good on his short TD run and he showed off some impressive ability on the long run.

I was going to point out the same thing. But actually he had at least two good runs and I'm thinking there might have been a third (or that could have been a move on a pass play that I'm thinking of). However, he got dumped at least twice deep in the back field for 5+ yard losses or more, therefore the 9 rushes for only 12 yards.
I don't think either of them looked
horrible today and we did seem to establish at least the possible threat that we'd run. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the way Brett telegraphs the run by holding the ball out immediately. They did a good job of keeping the Giants off balance today but there were those couple runs where their lineman got to our back untouched.

As long as we are winning, I am fine with Wynn and Jackson learning as we go.
They are struggling now, but with more game experience I think both will be fine.

Once Morency comes back, our running game should (hopefully) begin to take off.
I like Wynn a lot. I was a big fan of the pick and was real happy he made the team. But like others have said, I think he's a good change-of-pace back, not an every down back.

Our blocking has to get better before any of our backs look good. I wouldn't be surprised to see Wynn get the start Sunday .
