couple other college football notes:
-Badgers should have dropped...they haven't done anything to demonstrate that they belong in the top 8. But, thanks to the BS that is college football rankings, we have a team like Rutgers who is #11 and their toughest opponent has been Army. ugh...
-Pac 10 looked really good and really bod in spots. UCLA getting blown out by winless Utah 44-6??? The #11 team in the country does not lose that bad. USC looked great, but Nebraska should be 1-2 right now. Outside of Oklahoma, I think it will be a tough year for the Big 12. Texas does not look right.
-Florida looked great. LSU, Florida and USC are clearly the top 3 teams in the country right now. Heads and shoulders above anyone else, including Oklahoma.
-Mallett >>Clausen. Michigan is going to be a big force in the Big 10 so long as Hart keeps running like that. Don't sleep on this team. PS , ND is atrocious. I wonder if they'll still make it to a BCS bowl, Lou H? Will this team start off the season 0-8? I think they'll go 1-7, only beating Mich. State
-DUKEEEEE hahahah. Come on, Northwestern...
-Matt Ryan. Boy, I hope some of you watched him carve up the GT defense for 435 yards on Sat night. I sound like a recorder, but this guys is incredible--his poise, arm and accuracy are right there with Brohm's, if not better. Also, that BC team is really good--held Tashard Choice to 35 yars rushing on 14 carries.
-Nice win by Kentucky, but bow do the BE defenses suck. Louisville, WV....incredible offenses, but I don't see them beating any of the elite in college football with that D. I know Woodson is solid, but the UL coverage was just about as bad as it gets in the second half. Great game to watch tho...
