Packers Tickets - Best Buying Method

Post#1 » by Thunder Muscle » Wed Sep 19, 2007 8:10 pm

Curious question. What place(s) do you go/recommend to get Packer tickets for at or a little over face value? Obviously if you are a season ticket holder, this thread is irrelevant to you. :)

I tend to browse eBay, I was able to get tickets last year vs. Detroit at face value. My buddy was able to get nice seats at face value vs. Philly on eBay. However we both won last minute. I've been looking on eBay for Packer games in the future and this week, and wow, the prices are going insane. Not much below $150/game. However, based on my experiences, I tend to think eBay is the most likely route to get a decent price.

Stubhub seems pretty high.

I'm not positive what the usual going rate is on gameday in Green Bay. I know a person we were tailgating with in the opener bought a tic for $40 about an hour before kickoff. That's not bad at all. Maybe if one is patient, you can catch a deal near kickoff from a person just wanting to get rid of ticket.

Any other methods used/recommended? I understand Packer tickets are a hot item, especially if they are winning. I have a few connections, but they haven't been clutching up for me! :-?

If you hang out in front of the Don Hutson center on game day you can usually score tickets to any COLDER game for face or under.

WHen the weather is nice those tix go for well above, at least that is my experience.

Landed tickets for 25 each (2) but the game had already started 5 years ago.....

I live a couple of miles from the stadium so when buddies are in town we hit the stadium to tailgate with random people and try to score tickets, if we can't we get tix then we catch the rest of the game back home.

Always fun...

I thought you had to be on the west side of the stadium across the street in Ashwaubenon to sell tickets as it wasn't allowed in Green Bay At least that is where I see people most of the time.......by the "open pantry???" or whatever it is. (Across the street from the players parking lot.)

The scalpers pit is between the Resch Center and the Don Hutson Center. If you don't mind waiting until just before kickoff you can score some deals.

It certainly depends on who we are playing, what our record is, and the weather. Hard to get a bargain against our next two opponents at Lambeau, Chargers and Bears.

Next home game is against the Bears on national TV, that will be the most expensive ticket of the season.
