Its totally possible. We cannot get over confident. But I'd hate loosing to the Queens most.

In 1996 we were 3-0 and went into the Dome and had a frustrating day and lost.....I'm still scared of that place regardless of how bad Minnesota is....

I am grateful that Brad Childress never was able to get on that flight to Green Bay to come interview for the head coaching job here....

The team needs to stay focused and not get caught up in this hype. There is plenty of room to improve yet. This Sunday has 'let down' written all over it.

Way too early to think such things. Confidence is a great thing, but it's also fragile. How this team reacts to its first loss will mean more than anything this season.

I don't think we lose this week, even playing average football. The Vikings secondary is horrible, and their only team strength (stopping the run) is something we don't even do on offense.

Get ready for another 300 yard day for Favre.

Bears/Skins will both be challenges.

Yep

Who knows if TT would have hired him,but i really like McCarthy for multiple reasons.We focus alot on the players a GM acquires,but quite often,the head coach hired is one of the biggest moves a NFL GM can make.

McCarthy has figured out how to coach Brett Favre....and after the results yesterday, I think Favre's got to be happy now as well.

Minny wouldn't let him out of town until he signed a contract. I will be forever grateful to the 'Queens for that.

I certainly wouldn't count on 6-0. Too many weird things happen in this league and 3-3 is just as possible.

Agreed. The queens are a great run defense but even against average run defenses we cant seem to get anything going. It will certainly be another 40+ attempt day for Favre, which in the Metrodome could be a bad thing (although Favre has won the last 3 of 4 there).

Skins have a good defense and an underrated offense w/ a very good two-headed backfield. Campbell isn't anything special yet, but he doesn't need to do too much to keep the skins in the game because of the defense and run game. Moss is a game-breaker and Randel-El will test our punt coverage and Jarrett Bush

Bears may not have the most funtional offense but that defense is so good that they still can keep them in most games. Griese maybe? The only thing that makes me feel good about that game is that Archuleta will get burned by someone in coverage. Major downgrade from Brown.

Lets just not get ahead of ourselves. We still have tough games before the bye week. 6-0 isn't out of the question. Hey how many of us believed that we would be 3-0 after facing 3 playoff teams from last season including the Chargers, and Eagles who we also seem to let win games. 5-1 right now seems more realistic, but hey i'll take 6-0 w/ a bye week any day.

One thing the beginning of this year shows and nearly every year shows for that matter,many fans are way to quick before a year starts to say their schedule is either extremely tough or very easy.

When schedules came out,i'm sure many Charger and Eagles fans had Green Bay in the should be a fairly easy win column.Many fans who had to face the Saints had them in the that could be a likely loss column.Both the Titans and Texans look like they could be playoff teams this year,while the Bengals and Saints very well could finish under .500.Many had the Bears to be either the best/second best team in the NFC,now other teams may end up preferring to see them on their schedule than the Packers.

More than any other sport,pretty drastic changes from teams being among the best one season to struggling the next and subpar to the playoffs happen every year.Simply a few good or bad additions,injuries/lack of injuries,and winning or losing a few close games early on can change things dramatically.Suddenly an unexpected team is looking good and brimming with confidence,while an expected good team has a few injuries,age maybe creeping in a few spots,and confidence is shaken after a slow start.

I guessed on the Packers being around the 7-9/8-8 range.Now though i see a team that is confident and together,that's huge in a league where each game is so vital.Contrast that to say the Bears who looked shook up by that beatdown Sunday night and now all the questions from every direction about who should play QB.Obviously they have time to right the ship,but it's amazing how quickly things can change in the NFL from year to year.
