I'll be adding plenty more later, but I just happen to catch this in King's MMQB:

Goats of the Week

Referee Terry McAulay's crew at Green Bay-Washington, for an overall poor job and costing the Packers two legitimate touchdowns. First, there was a pathetic holding call on right tackle Mark Tauscher, negating one Favre touchdown pass; there was nothing close to a hold on the play. Last year, the officials were told not to call offensive holding unless it was something an official actually saw. Well, there's no way an official saw holding on Tauscher. Never happened. Then, a second Packers TD throw was negated when Bubba Franks cleanly caught a pass in the corner of the end zone with one foot down before getting driven out of the end zone by Washington cornerback Fred Smoot. Incomplete. Insane.

I hope the league takes notice.

The funny thing was i checked out this very popular Redskins forum and most of their fans thought the refs robbed the Skins and felt the refs were a fairly big reason why they lost.

Amazing how fans of each team can see two diferent games

Did they elaborate on certain calls? It really can't get any more blatant then the TD call back and Franks out of bounds call.

Well then those Redskins fans aren't very smart. One awful holding call and then a no call when Bubba was forced out that cost us two touchdowns, and then on the other side of the ball, plenty of times our DL was held, but no whistles.

How they can actually say the refs robbed them and be serious is absolutely hilarious. They robbed themselves. Dropped balls by their receivers, plenty of times they could've picked off Brett but dropped them too. Look at your own team you clowns, not the refs.

They went crazy over that offsetting penalty call where Thrash had a 40 yard catch, but Woodson got called for a 5 yard holding and Thrash got called for pass interference. They also were crying about the Woodson interception where they thought Randle El also had possession,so they felt it should have been ruled a catch.I forget the others, but they of course thought the holding call on Tauscher was a great call.

I do agree that we got lucky with that call on the Thrash catch. I really didnt think either penalty should have been called...but if they called anything, it probably would have been against Woodson.
