The Packers defense is the #2 ranked scoring defense in the NFL.
Steelers are #1, Packers #2.
After the Carolina gam,e, we could be approaching Pittsburgh as the #1 defense in points allowed.

Testament to our great defense and our ability to control the ball on offense. For a team that is primarily a passing offense, we put together some rather impressive, long, time-consuming drives. Did I read last game's stats correctly? We had the ball twice as long as Minnesota?

For the most part, teams have been able to move the ball better vs our defense than i expected. Once they get around the red zone though, the defense has done a pretty good job of making them kick field goals.
Another thing that seems to me to have helped the points against is i don't remember our offense turning the ball over very often on our side of the field this year. Favre threw that terrible INT vs the Bears around our 15 yard line, but if i remember correctly, most of his other picks came much further down field. Same with fumbles, off the top of my head, can't remember any fumbles that were recovered inside say our 30 yard line.

Good point, El Dude. Costly turnovers have been held to a minimum to an extreme for an NFL team.

I don't want to show you up, you probably didn't know because they did not update the stats from monday nights game. But Seatle allows 15.7, Packers allows 15. 8.
