Whoops. I was too quick on the draw and thought the question was how many the Packers would score.

And no Steve Smith? Poop! I like to see people I went to college with play.

I still like the Panthers defense. It's been put in poor positions because of the Panther offense, but they've still got playmakers over there. Favre can't have an off-day against these guys. It's the only way I see this one being close...if Favre throws them a couple balls at the wrong time.

If the Packers play a relatively clean game they should win by two TDs.

The thing I love about this Packer team is just when you think they might lay an egg or start to think they are good and take someone lightly...they don't,simply said.

Remember Mike Sherman's teams, they'd have a solid win vs a good team and just when you'd get excited they'd lay egg agianst some crap team and those type of things always ended up costing the Packers that all important bye week in the playoffs and homefield.

Thats was a big reason why Mike Sherman's teams where just ''playoff teams'' and not legit contenders, well that and the fact the defense was mediocre.

This would be a classic Mike Sherman egg game, playing a 4-6 team comming off a 34-0 win.

Those type of things don't seem to happen under MM.

Packers 27
Panthers 10

I am going to be rich after a Phily (-4), GB (-4), Dall (-5.5), NE (--11.5) teaser comes in. I put a ton on it. You tell me how any of those teams can win by anything less than those margins. Don't see how.

As for the game, I just don't see how its physically possible we lose to Carolina without Steve Smith.

But this is the NFL, so maybe I will be broke and the Packers 8-2 after today.

But I just can't see it.

Bob Holtzmann of ESPN reports that Packers receiver Donald Driver has boasted that, as to the team's offense, there's "nothing you can do to stop us."

Is Woodson no longer returning punts for us?
