Harris' first play on TO was NO QUESTION a strip. That last interference call was a joke.

The first Harris play and the PI call both gave the Cowboys points. Those are absolutely terrible calls that cannot be made. Pathetic officiating tonight, almost Donaghy-esque.

It didn't cost us points, but they also missed the face mask on Jennings touchdown and the 15 yard penalty on Owens for using the popcorn to celebrate his TD. Little things, but still missed calls that benefit the cowboys.

The strip by Harris on Owens was a huge blown call. That could have turned the game in our favor early if we turn that into a score.

Yeah as I stated in the game thread, they called the foward progress way to early. That play might as well have been to hand touch. Foward progress should only be called when the runner is trying to hold his ground while the defense is trying to tackle him

What pissed me off the most about that call is if TO sheds Al a second later and takes it to the house, they wouldn't stop it.

The PI on Tramon was bad, especially since they only threw the flag after Hurd whined.....meanwhile Witten pushed off of Hawk the play before and nobody even listened to his complaints. What was worse is the ref in front of the play let it go, the ref 30 yards down field overruled him for whatever reason, and he was the same ref who took Harris' forced fumble away from him.

Flozell Adams was gripping Jenkins around the neck all game, only called for holding once, in fact he held him twice consecutively after the one was called.

Ryan Grant got bad spots all night, especially at the end of that last drive, it was why McCarthy wasting that challenge on the Al Harris fiasco was dumb. He did it to prove a point, he had to have known they wouldn't overturn a forward progress call. And he was stuck kicking a 50 yard FG, which luckily we made. But personally I go for it, and if I kick that FG I onside kick it.

Speaking of onside kick, I like how the refs missed everything the Cowboys did all game long but were able to see a ball that barely touched one of our players on a GREAT onside kick.

Mix that with T.O. pushing off pretty much the entire game and it is exactly why I wanted to win this game. One person said this is the worst officiating he has ever seen, not true wait until (if we are good enough to make it this far) they are in Dallas in the postseason. It will be similar to Michael "push off" Irvin, Larry "I hold Reggie White" Allen, Deion "Pass Interference" Sanders.......



Maybe we get lucky and Dallas loses to DET/Washington these next couple of games and we take care of ours. Because even at 100% health if we get that close to 100%, the refs won't allow us to win in Dallas.

The refs had a bad game, but if we play in Dallas in the NFC title game, what possible reason would the refs have to make sure we lose?

Even if you're one of those nutty conspiracy buffs that think pro sports leagues have their refs/umps help bigger market or more popular teams win in the playoffs for ratings reasons, the Packers making the Super Bowl would hardly be a thing the networks would frown at.

The Packers are one of the more popular and most followed pro sports team in not just football, but all sports period. Mix in how big the media angle would be of a 38 year old Brett Favre playing to win a title and if he did, that possibly being his last game.

For ratings and pre-game hype, both a Dallas/Patriots or Packers/Patriots game would be very appealing to whatever network carries the Super Bowl.
