He was moved to RB because of some stupid thing last Spring when we were short on RBs and we made the horribly short-sighted move of putting him at RB so that we had 3 for the Spring game/early practices.
Funny, though...I am in Landingham's Sociology class and I actually overheard him talking about transferring to another player. It was I believe last Wednesday when there was a decent amount of snow/cold and he was talking about how he intends to go "somewhere warm" like Arizona, Texas, etc.

Losing Landingham hurts. He had a good size/speed ratio and the smarts to play safety. IMO, he never should have been converted to running back in the first place. We needed help at safety just as badly the way Pleasant was playing.
Hill, I'm indifferent about. He was our 3rd best running back this season, and will be 4th on that list next year behind Clay.
Badgers just received 2 commitments this weekend:
We got badly needed immediate DT help in the form of Dan Moore, from Joliet Junior College. One of my insider contacts, who is associated with another major school btw, relayed to me that their scout likened him to former Buckeye Quinn Pitcock. Supposedly he can absorb multiple blockers and had 4 sacks in one game last season. Here's his link at Recruiting Planet: http://www.recruitingplanet.com/forum/w ... erbal.html
Also, UW stole a DE from South Florida by the name of Anthony Mains. He's very quick off the edge, but undersized. Here's his link as well (video included): http://www.recruitingplanet.com/forum/w ... erbal.html

Thank goodness there are other people out there who realize this. When Smith isn't suspended and Clay is ready to roll then I think Hill should see spot goal line duty next year. Problem is we seem to glorify the hell out of him and he is already penciled in as the #1 guy for the next 2 years(yes, casual fans...there is absolutely no chance for him to leave early and he will be a 5th round pick after his senior year at best). This team could have been so much better with more Smith/Brown at RB and Evridge at QB.

Can't agree with you on Evridge. Anybody who believes we'd be BCS'ing with Allan is kidding themselves. When he played his footwork was always shaky and he was erratic with his throws. The rumblings are the coaches aren't even thrilled with the idea of him starting next year, and both freshmen (Stallons and Phillips) have legitimate opportunities to seize that job. There was nothing wrong with Donovan's performance overall this season.

It was okay, maybe I'm not totally sure of Evridge's abilities but I jumped off my seat at the end of the Penn State game because I hadn't seen anyone throw a crisp pass, hard, and on the money on a 20+ yard ball all season. Donovan's numbers were pretty solid but I just felt like we had the high school backup JV quarterback out there.
