Pickett - What would you do?

Post#1 » by eagle13 » Fri Dec 21, 2007 3:11 pm

Let's say Ryan is really borderline healthy.
Do you play him for best chance to win or rest him and let him heal?

Me? Bears do not run very well.
I rest Pickett but keep him on active roster just in case Bears start to shred the rooks.
I start and play Harrell with Muir getting snaps.

Benson is garbage, as is the rest of the Bear offense. Sit him.

Benson is out for the year, but I agree sit him ans see what Harrell can do.

D'Oh.

I actually like Peterson more than Benson anyway.

I say sit him till the playoffs that way he will most likely be 100% or close to it and that will be worth not playing him the last 2 weeks.

Maybe if Dallas loses Saturday night you play him. But I'd rather have him 100% in January.

For whatever its worth, I was listening to Chris Havel on the radio last night. He's a bit of a tool but definitely always seems to have an ear close to whats going on. He said if he were a betting man he would say that Pickett does not play.

It's a groin injury, which is one of the most sensitive things an athlete can deal with. Suit him up, but wait a few series before deciding if he needs to play or not. I would rather have him at 100% in the playoffs than at 75% right now.

thats what i would say.... Otherwise sit him... Harrell can get a majority of the snaps, not like he is tired! Hasnt played at all this year. A chance to make a name for himself....

Plus they will move Jenkins to the inside so everything will be fine... They have been playing him there alot so it should be fine...
