Coston goes on IR

Green Bay - The Packers placed guard Junius Coston on injured reserve this afternoon and signed tackle Orrin Thompson from the practice squad to take Coston's place.

Coston, who battled a sprained ankle throughout the season, strained his right calf in the season finale against the Detroit Lions. He had started seven of the 13 games he appeared in.

Thompson spent four weeks on the Packers' active roster earlier this season.

I guess Colledge has made strides lately so maybe this won't matter too much. I just haven't been able to get a good feel for our o-line lately.

IF Spitz can play we should be OK - IF Colledge comes to play and doesn't play his head up his ass games.

cannot afford another injury though. Clifton MUST stay healthy.
