OT: National Championship Game

Post#1 » by ReasonablySober » Tue Jan 8, 2008 1:31 am

Last year I thought Florida would roll and they did. This year I think Ohio State punishes the Tigers.

LSU's very overrated. They don't have the spread offense that puts the Buckeyes on their heels and they don't have the speed and playmakers on D that Florida did.

Conversely, I think Ohio State's defense has more than enough talent to contain LSU. The one guy for LSU that scares me somewhat is Williams. I think he's going to be a special back and this could end up being his coming out party if things go their way.

Ha, and while I'm typing this Wells goes 65 yards.

Get used to seeing Beanie run rampant in this one.

These teams are pretty even. Who's playmakers will make plays?

Beanie would look good in a Packer uni.

I thought this would be a tight close game in the 27-24 range, but LSU is shredding that Buckeye defense.

My buddy owed me 25 bucks and we decided to bet on the game with no spread, i let him pick who he wanted and he chose LSU. The start was great, but i doubt OSU can come back and win. :noway:

Ouch. I underestimated the ability of Tressle to completely bone-up the playcalling. The better team won last night, but if I were JT I would have ran Wells until his legs fell off.
