RealGM's latest mock
has us taking Reggie Smith, Erin Henderson, Martellus Bennett, and Carl Nicks. Not bad but given who they have available, I'd probably go Calais Cambell, Fred Davis, Charles Godfrey, Heath Benedict. What are some of your guys' mocks look like?

I can't stand Reggie Smith. I watched him play a great deal and was never impressed. I also think it's a huge red flag anytime I see things like "he could excel at either cornerback or safety." To me, that means he'll be good at neither. Maybe I'm still just bitter that we spent a third round pick on Bhawoh Jue.
I can't stand Erin Henderson either. His brother, EJ, was a major bust and I haven't seen any reason to believe he won't be any different. Like his brother, he's not exactly a rocket scientist.
I do like Bennett though. He's a monster blocker and a big target in the red zone. He doesn't have blazing speed, but he's a more athletic Bubba, at least.

Are you kidding?
EJ Henderson was probably the most dominant inside linebacker in the NFC last season.

I have no idea what will be running through Tompson's head now that Favre is gone. I sure hope we address the nickel package problem and draft a CB that we can develop through Woodson and Harris. He would learn alot from those two before their done in Green Bay. Hopefully we can land Cason from Arizona or get real lucky and have Talib from Kansas fall to us somehow? That guy is a playmaker and would be nice to see in green and gold! Right now who knows?

I'm not sure if we were watching different players. It's entirely possible, and I'm not saying that sarcastically or to insinuate anything either. I'm just calling it like I see it. I looked up his numbers, and they looked pretty good last year, but not dominant. Not to mention that my 6', 210 lb out of shape body could look good at middle linebacker behind those two tackles...
As for Represent's post, I agree that I hope Thompson addresses the corner position early (and possibly often). I'm convinced that there are at least a half dozen ways the Pack can go for a corner in this draft and not be wrong. The position is absolutely loaded with talent and many of them fit our system very well. Drafts that have this many guys who are big, athletic, and can play press man coverage do not happen often. Ted needs to take advantage of it.

If we don't take a CB with the first pick I will be upset. We need to address that problem first and formost. Yeah we need a little help on the inside of the O-line, but we can get that with one of our second round picks. Honestly, that's my only concern right now. I'm sure Ted with look for a late round steal and find a backup for Grant. We all know Jackson is not looking to great. Although he did start to play better at seasons end.
Thompson needs to have a good draft this year. I cant wait to see what all you guys say when its over?
