#30 overall
#56 overall
#60 overall
Brady Poppinga
Will Blackmon

Packers receive:

#9 overall (Darren McFadden)
#77 overall
#112 overall

Runningback isn't the biggest need for the Packers, but then again the Packers don't have a lot of needs. PNF proposed a deal, we countered a couple of times and this was the final result. Grant and McFadden immediately make one of the best 1-2 punches in the league, and they still have a nice insurance policy in Jackson. The Packers own Grant's rights the next two seasons, and it's possible he's moved down the line. Packers can still add depth with their two 3rd round picks (#77 and #91) and three fourth rounders (#112, #128 and #135).

According to the NFL draft value chart

9=1350, 77=205, 112=70 for a total of 1625


30=620, 56=340, 60=300 for a total of 1260.

The three packer picks do not equal the value of the #9 pick. Then Cincy would be trading a 3rd for Poppinga (when he was a fourth) and a 4th for Blackmon who was a fourth and has had chronic foot problems limiting his play.

Of course there is the whole McFadden lasting until the 9th pick that I will not even address.
