I'm rooting for Hodge and Noah Herron. When we first drafted Abdul I thought he had a chance to be better than Hawk because of his football instincts and knack for being around the ball. If he really is 100% we could have a pleasant surprise on our hands. Even if he is just a special teams standout, that helps a lot. I always liked Herron as a third stringer. He doesn't have much speed or burst but he runs hard and seems to be a good character guy. I doubt he makes it but I'll be rooting for him.

If Hodge has not lost any of his already slow speed and also excels on ST - then he'll take Bishop's job as he's a better MLB than Bishop IMO.
