The Tampa Tribune reported this at 12:35 and ESPN started scrolling it as "Breaking News" about 10 minutes after. Apologies if this belongs in a different thread, but it seems to be being treated as more definitive, by ESPN at least.

As I said, sorry if this wasn't thread-worthy. I just saw the big BREAKING NEWS banner on ESPN, grabbed the Tampa Trib link and posted.

It's as thread-worthy as my "Favre to Retire" thread.

Well, in case the mods rule this not-thread-worthy, I have decided to update my avatar in recognition of the end of the Favre Era, with a decidedly new-old retro look to my jersey. Please feel free to change thread name to "OT: GhostDog Goes Old School with New Avatar" or something, lock it, shoot it, and then throw it into Lake Michigan.
