Andrew Brandt's new site

Normally I wouldn't be one to spread a URL, but since the president of the site is the former salary cap manager for the Packers, I thought it was relevant to those around here.

The National Football Post.

Lots of valuable and interesting information on here.

I have been looking over the site the last couple days...

From Mike Lombardi

5. Every time there are trade talks and rumors coming from Green Bay, they never quite seem right. This I know for a fact…. When I was working at the Hotel California, the same type of stuff was floating around about Randy Moss and talks with Oakland. Someone out there has bad sources in Green Bay.

Lombardi needs to do better than that.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Indeed. Thanks to their "10 Questions with Aaron Rodgers" we now know that after he retires, Rodgers wants to do "something meaningful worldwide for underprivileged people" with his "mad Halo skills", sort of like Bono with a plasma rifle.

Considering Rodgers' favorite team growing up was the 49ers, if they ever made a sequel to "There's Something About Mary" with Rodgers instead of Brett Favre, wouldn't A-Rod (unlike Favre) get Cameron Diaz in the end? She was a Niners girl, after all. Ipso facto, then, Rodgers will win more Super Bowls than Favre.

I just wanted to go back and say thanks for finding this site DB, it's very well done and has become one of my favorite football related sites. I really like how they bring views from various fronts with a former players view, the contract negotiating view with Brandt, and also a NFL personnel departments/scouting view from Lombardi.

Yeah I posted the link to Brandt's article on Ahman Green a couple of weeks ago, it was a great read.

Thanks for the bump. I don't come by this board as much as I used to and I missed this the first time around. Looks like a great site.
