Four guys came into this preseason with alot to prove that they can stay healthy -

Harrell, Wynn, Blackmon & Hodge.

off-season eatin machine Harrell blew it - again
whats it this time Wynn continues to sit with nics
Blackmon was injured briefly again but bounced back quick.
Hodge looks completely recovered and has not missed a rep.

Any predictions on these guys?

Wynn....bye bye
Blackmon....active roster/return man but won't be the nickel...maybe dime.
Hodge........active roster, special teams deamon.

Agree with Titan.

Hodge still has a lot to prove. He can he hit, but he not an 'all around' linebacker.

If we're not going to limit this to just injury plagued players, I'd add the following to the list:

Darryn College - Now the backup LT, he'll likely see the field at some point, and it's not out of the realm of possibility that he wins back his spot if he plays well over the next three weeks. But he was a 2nd rounder and while he's gotten plenty of experience, he hasn't shown as much as the other guard, Spitz, taken in the same class.

AJ Hawk - He's been solid, certainly no liability, but he hasn't been the game changing force that he was as a Buckeye. I think when the Packers took him they were hoping for a playmaker and someone that can dominate his side of the field the way Brooks did.

Nick Collins - Sort of like Hawk, but without the above average play. You don't get a lot of big plays with Collins and to me it looks like he's out there thinking rather than going on instinct and raw ability the way Bigby does. Right now he's just a guy. If hope the staff gives Rouse a shot to unseat him.

Aaron Rodgers - Obvious reasons.

Al Harris - That final game could be an aberration or a sign that his best days are long behind him. He looked awful against the Giants. Can he still be a Pro Bowl quality CB or has age caught up with him?

I think Hawk has playmaking ability but he has been terribly mismatched in a very vanilla defense that really stresses making plays for the middle LB. I was shocked when Sanders wasn't fired in the offseason, his defense was, to bend but don't break, couple that with how much praise McCarthy heeped upon the Giants D-Coordinator and I thought a change would happen. I have read that the Packer defensive staff plans to be much more on the attack this year and feature Hawks skills in particular, my guess is Sanders is on notice to utilyze his defensive weapons more or else.

I hope so, i'm not a fan of Sanders either and agree that this defense is a middle linebackers wet dream
