Week 3 game watch

Post#1 » by MadCityBucky » Sun Sep 21, 2008 6:06 pm

Division Watch:

Vikings losing 0-10 to the Panthers :)

Bears losing 6-7 to the Bucs. Their offense really sucks but their D looks good. As I typed this Orton throws a interception to Gaines Adam  Looks like it's going to be 6-14.

NFL Watch:

Miami up 14-6 on New England.

Bears offense is horrendous. That is exactly why I don't buy them as a sleeper team this year. Great D, great special teams, no passing offense whatsoever, and just inept QB play. You have to be able to pass in today's NFL to win.

Wow, is Griese bad. 4 TO's for the Bucs today, 3 of them really unforced.

Brian Griese is horrible.

Hahahahahahaha. The Bears make a stop in overtime with a chance for great field position and Tillman gets a personal foul penalty which leads to a Buccaneers first down.

Unfortunately Griese still sucks and the Buccaneers aren't going to do anything with that gift.

LOL at the Bears. Tillman with a personal foul to extend the drive, Bucs march right down the field. Griese was horrendous but still has thrown for 400+.

Nice job Tillman.....

A Bears win would have put me in the money in one of my pools. Blast.

**** that. That loss is on the bloody refs.

I STILL say playoffs. Especially if Orton plays like he did in the 2nd half more often.

We SHOULD be 3-0 right now.

Blaming everyone but their own team. I don't know why Bears fans (well, at least the one I quoted) actually thought they would make it to the post season. They have a horrendous offense and the defense can't win every single game for you.

It was the correct call. Just because it's a huge penalty doesn't mean it's the wrong call. Bears have their offense to blame for not putting the game away in regulation.

And their defense for allowing the 80 yard TD drive in a couple of minutes to tie it.

I tell ya, watching the Vikings and Panthers was boring. They run such vanilla offenses, and if not for watching to see if Peterson can take it to the house, whats the point of that offense. I mean BB is your # 1 wideout??? Anyways, with the Bears loss, we could have a 2 game lead :)

Tampa will be fired up after their comeback but they looked pretty bad today, we should be able to take care of them on the road next week.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, it was the right call. It came at a bad time for the Bears, but it was the right call. The Bears still allowed Griese to carve their secondary up for 407 yards passing and drive all the way down the field in OT.

The bottom line is you have to be smart in that situation regardless of who started it. Tillman was just plain stupid.
