Pioneer Press - Minnesota defensive end Jared Allen claims that his mullet gives him strength on the field, according to Pioneer Press.
"The mullet is like the All-American haircut," Allen said. "It's basically my secret strength. God gave me my talent. But the mullet gives me the attitude to use my talent."
Allen has eight tackles and two sacks through Minnesota's first three game
